If you're destined to choose your own destiny, who actually chooses your destiny? Destiny, because you're destined, or you, because you're destined to?
Sorry, I'm writing an essay on the presentation of fate in Volume One of 'Frankenstein', and my brain got slightly out of control.
I've now looked at the word destined too many times, and it has lost all meaning. At least the essay is finished, now all I have to do is copy it by hand... Meh.
